BRITISH SOUND DAY

Kaiser Chiefs + The Long Blondes + Good Shoes

A unique concert bringing you three of the most promising bands on the UK music scene in a new British sound mix you simply won't be able to resist!

International and UK chart toppers Kaiser Chiefs return to Athens to reassert their current status as one of the top pop-rock bands in the world following the release of their second album Yours Truly, Angry Mob and their number one hit single Ruby.

They're joined by The Long Blondes, an up-and-coming band that has monopolised media interest over the last two years and whose superb debut album Someone To Drive You Home is reminiscent of the sounds of the '80s and the music of Blondie and Siouxsie and the Banshees.

The line-up is completed by Good Shoes, an emerging indie pop band who recently released their extraordinary debut album Think Before You Speak and whose music follows in the footsteps of Jam, Hefner, Franz Ferdinand, The Futureheads and Maximo Park.

The concert is taking place as part of the Gagarin Open Air Festival, 5–11 July 2007.
