Here in India we provide a number of opportunities to promote your institution. Some of these opportunities are only available to members of the Education UK Partnership. However, most services are available to all eligible UK education providers.
Knowledge Based Seminars
In order to provide a platform to UK and Indian institutions and to establish stronger links in the subject of `Biotechnology' with a potential to further collaborate, Knowledge Based Seminars will be organised in Chennai from 10 to 14 October 2011.

Display of promotional material
From end September 2009, we are discontinuing the service of displaying institution prospectuses (also known as 'bulk freight') in British Council offices. This is because our research has shown that fewer students are coming to British Council offices to view prospectuses and the service is not providing a good return on investment.
We therefore request that you do not forward any prospectuses to our offices. Thank you for your understanding.
We are currently looking for an alternative way to promote member institutions more effectively. To this end, we have set up a focus group involving members and British Council staff and are now developing proposals which will be put forward to the Board in October 2009.
If you have any questions or you would like to contribute your ideas, please contact educationuk.partnership@britishcouncil.org
Commissioned mailings
If you have material that you would like to promote to prospective students in India contact us to discuss how we can help you. We can distribute material to our contacts either by post or by including information in our electronic newsletters. Demand for this service can be high and priority for this service is given to our members of the Partnership.
UK inward visits
In order to familiarise leading professionals, including journalists, principals and education agents with the UK we organise inward visits. These inward visits are aimed at increasing the understanding of studying and living in the UK. In addition they provide the perfect opportunity to showcase UK institutions. We advertise these opportunities via EducationUK-L. Ensure you subscribe to EducationUK-L in order to hear about these opportunities.
Institution profile on top navigation
Members of the India Partnership have the additional benefit of their profile being positioned through a link from the top navigation bar of the student facing India Education UK website. This service enables these institutions to be profiled above all other institutions in the search engine.
Showcasing on Education UK website: You can also showcase through advertorial content on India’s student facing Education UK website. Click here to download the details for showcasing
Opportunity to market via web chats: Live web based chats is a very effective medium to engage with prospective students. The schedule for the same is announced under the events section of the Education UK website. These sessions are for duration of one hour and cost £ 40 per chat session.
If your institution is interested to conduct any of these web chat sessions or wish to avail of the showcasing opportunity, please send a request mail to Moneesha.gupta@in.britishcouncil.org at least 4 weeks in advance.
