  • Abu Dhabi:
    • due to space restrictions, exhibitors will be provided with a table and chairs and room for two roll-up banners
  • PR campaign: advertising on Education UK and British Council websites and external education-related websites, nationwide radio stations, in English and Arabic daily newspapers and industry magazines, flyers, posters and banners in public-facing areas of British Council offices and distributed to agencies, scholarship bodies, schools, colleges and universities, mailshots sent out to Education UK database, visits to schools and higher education institutions to prepare visitors

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.

The participation fees stated above incorporate a 'credit crunch' contingency and are the maximum that participants will be charged. If this additional contingency is not called upon, participants will be invoiced for less than the maximum fee.

Last year, we set a target to reduce our overall exhibition costs by 12 per cent. A reduction of 17 per cent has been achieved in Abu Dhabi, as the Abu Dhabi Men’s College has offered the use of the venue free-of-charge. However, due to the inclusion of the credit crunch contingency, as well as the strength of the AED against the dollar, the cost of the Dubai event has increased by 18 per cent. We have ensured that all costs have been kept to a minimum whilst maintaining the standards and expectations of an Education UK exhibition. The following charts show the cost breakdown for the exhibition in October 2008 compared to this exhibition: Abu Dhabi (11KB GIF image); Dubai (12KB GIF image).
