This year, the China Education Expo 2006 with Education UK will be a unique one. We will be launching the refreshed Education UK brand as part of the opening of the exhibition and the UK pavilion will surely stand out for its sophisticated and innovative design. Apart from the huge visual impact on the audiences, we will be inviting VIPs from the ministry as well as key media to cover the opening. Our key messages will also be introduced to reinforce positive perceptions towards UK education. We sincerely invite and hope that more UK institutions will join us and together create an ever successful exhibition with us.

Please note that, subject to negotiation with our Chinese partner, British Council China is considering opting out of an exhibition in Shanghai for spring 2007 and replacing it with a postgraduate fair in April 2007 instead. Therefore, we would like to encourage institutions (particularly those from the ELT, FE and independent schools sectors) to participate in this October 2006 event in Shanghai. We will appreciate your support to the UK pavilion. Our strategy for Shanghai, given the market demand, will be one generic exhibition in October each year followed by a postgraduate fair in April.

The participation fee includes:

  • venue hire;
  • two metres by three metres booth;
  • promotional activities, such as: presentations promoting the event; media gatherings; direct advertisements in the local media (print media, websites, radio and TV) and underground stations; local institutions; production of promotional collateral.

Stand sharing will be made available at a premium of twenty per cent on the stand costs.

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.
