The following are links to a range of external EMI-related websites which you may find useful. Project Atlas tracks the migration trends of the millions of students who pursue an international education each year. The British Council is a member of Project Atlas.
The Journal of Studies in International Education provides educational stakeholders with research, reviews and case studies on all facets of international education. The British Council is on the advisory committee for the Journal of Studies in International Education.
The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) has been one of the largest and most reliable collectors of data and comparable statistics for more than 40 years.
The UNESCO Institute for Statistics acts as a knowledge sharing and information disseminating service.
Wissenschaft weltoffen, produced by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), reports on facts and figures for international studies and research in Germany.
Australian Education International is part of the Australian Government and supports the development of world class international education in Australia.
The Open Doors report is published by the Institute of International Education, which has conducted the annual statistical survey of international students in the United States since 1949.
The Japan Student Services Organization provides statistics on international students in Japan.
Nuffic is the Netherlands organisation for international co-operation in higher education and supports the internationalisation of higher education and research in the Netherlands and also worldwide.
The Academic Cooperation Association is an independent European organisation concerned with the management, analysis and improvement of education and training in Europe.
Education Counts provides statistical information on the New Zealand education sector.
The Observatory on Borderless Higher Education provides information specific to trans-national education for education professionals and policy makers.
