ARTISTIC POLICY
Since 1991 Bash Street Theatre has developed and toured outdoor shows with non-verbal narrative, live music and a mixture of physical theatre and circus skills. Over several years the company has been developing European markets, and in 2006 won the Best Street Show prize, awarded by an international jury at the prestigious Fira de Tarrega festival in Spain.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Cliffhanger! A real-life silent movie with falling buildings, dare-devil escapology, slap-stick humour and live piano accompaniment. Inspired by Buster Keaton’s short film Convict 13, this action-packed silent comedy show has been enjoyed throughout Europe by young and old alike. (50 mins, no interval, 6 on the road, including 2 children, suitable for indoor or outdoor performance.)

Bash Street Bobbies A very British comedy stilt walkabout with three 10 ft tall “bobbies-on-the-beat”. These affable, old-fashioned bobbies are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Performed throughout UK, Europe, and Hong Kong. (2 x 45 mins walkabout shows, 5 on the road, including 2 children.)

FUTURE PRODUCTION
The Station An hour long, non-verbal show, with an original musical score, set in and around a dilapidated railway station in the age of steam locomotives. It follows a day in the life of the station master, and the antics of his staff as they deal with various crisis situations. (60 mins, no interval, non-verbal, 6 on the road, including 2 children, suitable for indoor or outdoor performance.)

WRAP-AROUND
Post-performance discussions and seminars on street theatre relevant to both productions. These can be targeted at all age ranges, professional or amateur. Children’s workshops with a focus on acrobatics and physical theatre are also available.
