Practical Information for Students

You'll probably have lots of questions you want to ask on the more practical issues that Erasmus students face. Take a look at this section that deals with some of these key issues. If you are already enrolled at a higher education institution, remember to talk to your Erasmus Co-ordinator to find out what they advise in terms of preparation. You may also find it helpful to ask questions to other students  via the student forum website or perhaps start your own discussion on the Erasmus Facebook page.

It may also be useful to take a look at the Monetos website. Monetos is an international, free-of-charge research portal that provides extensive information on the European social and financial sectors. Within the Service section of the website you can browse information and advice on topics such as finding accomodation, opening a bank account and visiting a doctor - all very useful to a student taking part in the Erasmus programme

As well as key information on the programme, the host institution and the ECTS system, you’ll also need to look into accommodation, insurance, registration, language preparation and orientation programmes.
