Business Language Testing Service (BULATS)

BULATS tests the communication skills that are needed in real business situations and is specifically designed for companies and organisations which need to determine the language skills of staff for example, when recruiting staff, planning a promotion scheme or developing a language training programme.

Location flexible – either at the British Council or on your company’s premises

Standard: LE270 per candidate
Computer based: LE270 per candidate
Speaking: LE270 per candidate
Writing: LE270 per candidate

What is BULATS?

BULATS stands for Business English Language Testing Service, it is offered to companies and organisations only

There are 4 types of tests available, organisations can choose to take one, two or three of the tests depending on their needs.

Standard (120 minutes)
Computer Based (75 minutes)
Speaking (12 - 15 minutes)
Writing (45 minutes)

Test Results

Results are usually available within one week of the test date. Results can be given in a GROUP Report for the authorised contact person in the client company. Also Individual reports for each candidates can be produced on request.
If candidates require certificates, they are recommended to take the Business English Certificates.
