Egypt Exploration Society The Egypt Exploration Society (EES) exists to promote the study of the history, religion, and culture of ancient Egypt by excavation and by scientific publication of its monuments. The Society arranges lectures site tours, educational Egyptology courses and occasional social events to which all members based in Cairo are invited, and will receive notices of all local activities.
