British Council Czech Republic

science

British science explores the cutting edges of biology, medicine, astronomy, chemistry, engineering and physics for the benefit of all.

We bring these together under two themes: excellence in international science (the UK's collaborative work with scientists from countries around the world) and increasing the understanding of science in society (engaging the public in discussion and understanding of science).

Understanding science in society
Our work in science aims to create partnerships between people and institutions in the UK and the Czech Republic to share the benefits of science and increase public awareness of science, the environment and technology.

Write to us about science at science@britishcouncil.cz.

Our top theme right now: climate change

The climate change affects the living conditions of all. What do we know about this phenomenon and its consequences? ZeroCarbonCity is our global campaign aiming to reframe the international climate change debate.
