British science explores the cutting edges of biology, medicine, astronomy, chemistry, engineering and physics for the benefit of all.
We bring these together under two themes: excellence in international science (the UK's collaborative work with scientists from countries around the world) and increasing the understanding of science in society (engaging the public in discussion and understanding of science).
Understanding science in society
Our work in science aims to create partnerships between people and institutions in the UK and the Czech Republic to share the benefits of science and increase public awareness of science, the environment and technology.
