Phil Collins (UK, 1970) has gained recognition for his ongoing projects which examine portraiture and the emotional core of photography and videomaking. Working closely with individuals and communities over a matter of time Collins reflects on their realities staging convocations and events and interacting with the situations that constitute his subject matter.
