Project Description:
Muslim Women Music Makers is Ulfah Arts international campaign for the promotion of Muslim women in music. The Missing Voices consortium has been initiated by Ulfah Arts/UK, Marmoucha/Holland and World Music Denmark associated ‘Tavse Stemmer’. The consortium believes in implementing strategies to encourage missing voices from the World Music Scene to come forward. This includes developing artists and audiences. Our vision is to contribute to the next generation of World Music artists, audiences and music professionals from newly arrived and disengaged communities.
