Information on the funding levels for In-Service Training activity starting between 1 May 2012 and 30 April 2013    

Comenius In-Service Training grants combine flat-rate allowances with allowances based on real costs. Any course or seminar fee will be supported based upon your actual expenditure. However, your travel and living costs will be supported by a flat rate allowance determined by the duration of your training and the country in which the activity takes place.

In addition you can apply for a flat rate allowance to support linguistic preparation for the training activity

The combination of these allowances cannot however exceed the maximum grant rates set below:

The flat-rate grant to support your travel and living costs is known as the subsistence allowance.

Daily rates for the second week are calculated as (total amount for two weeks minus total amount for one week) divided by 7

Daily rates for weeks 3 to 6 are calculated as the relevant weekly rate divided by 7

You may also apply for a flat-rate grant of €500 to support linguistic preparation for your training activity (although as stated above, the maximum grant rates cannot be exceeded). This can help you attend a structured language course in the UK or another Comenius Country.
