Social Innovation

Sino-British Social Innovation Project
Social innovation is how cities, national governments and business solve compelling challenges facing the society- such as urban growth, traffic congestion, an ageing population, chronic disease and unemployment – by designing and developing new and more effective approaches.

COMPACT Project
The Compact on Relations between Government and the Voluntary and Community Sector (the COMPACT) is a partnership framework between the government and the volunteer and community departments.

NGO Evaluation
We worked with the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs from April 2003 to March 2006 on a three-year project to build up a more effective system for the evaluation and regulation of social groups, foundations and private non-enterprises organisations (otherwise known as NGOs).

Media Project
We worked with Caijing magazine from April 2003 to March 2006 on a media project, which focus on providing technique training to investigative journalists and promoting media rights.
