Establishing a Judicial Reviewing Project

Judicial review is a priority area in the recent construction of the legal system in China. With China's entry into WTO, this area attracts increasing concern. In October 2002, we worked with the Supreme High Court to establish the Judicial Review Project and arranged for eight Chinese judges to visit Britain and study the judicial system there. The visit was a success.
