1. How does the NEW TOLES series relate to the existing TOLES Foundation and TOLES Advanced exams?
TOLES Foundation is the starting point for any student of legal English, regardless of their level of general English. It starts at a lower level of required general English than the existing TOLES Foundation in that the tense used is present simple where possible and the exams test knowledge of vocabulary rather than introducing active use of this vocabulary.
TOLES Higher builds upon the vocabulary acquired at Foundation level. It is close to the existing TOLES Foundation level, but with some important changes. Introductory drafting skills are now included.
