All candidates from mainland China must submit both online application forms and supporting documents:

1. Online application form : The deadline for submitting the Chevening scholarship online application form is 07 February 2012.

Please note once the online application form is submitted, applicants can not view or make any changes. Applicants are advised to read How to fill in online application form. Candidates will bear the consequence of submitting duplicated forms.

We suggest all candidates do thorough research on the subject and the university they intend to study at with the scholarship before filling in their application form. Please visit our Education UK page for more information about the UK Higher Education.

2.Submission by post or hand delivery of supporting documents by 07 February 2012 to our offices. The documents submitted for Chevening application will not be returned on any occasion.

• Three sets of reference forms . One original set and 2 sets of copies. Each set should consist of one academic and one professional reference form. Both letters should be written and signed by referees. Reference forms can be downloaded from the website.
• UK institutions' acknowledgement of application (offer or initial application correspondence with UK institutions).
• Two copies of all relevant higher education academic certificates and transcripts, accompanying English translations.
• Three copies of IELTS test report form, with at least IELTS overall 6.5, and no individual band less than 6. IELTS scores are an integral part of the assessment process and you will not be interviewed without valid IELTS. Please check the IELTS Page for more information about the IELTS examination.
