By presenting this programme with the performances, the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy aims to encourage even greater professional capacity among Chinese theatre practitioners. Through exposing them to contemporary British dramatic work, it is hoped they will support contemporary programming in local theatres and that they will engage in innovative creative thinking for their own productions and companies.
