Leeds - the chance to enjoy superb nightlife, unrivalled shopping facilities, a range of 'state of the art' attractions and fine dining and entertainment.Don't miss out on Leeds - the chance to enjoy superb nightlife, unrivalled shopping facilities, 'state of the art' attractions and fine dining and entertainment.Leeds' reputation for shopping goes from strength to strength, with top fashion store Harvey Nichols and many designer names. But it's not all expensive. Elegant Victorian and Edwardian arcades, small boutiques and speciality shops sit alongside modern malls and high street names – all in the pedestrianised city centre.

Away from the shops is an impressive range of attractions. The Royal Armouries is the first national museum to house part of the Royal Collection from the Tower of London, in a 42 million home on the waterfront. Harewood House is the spectacular home of the Queen's cousin, the Earl of Harewood, and the 6m Thackray Medical Museum is one of Leeds' newest attractions, showing how medical advances have changed our lives. Cultural events include opera and ballet in the park, the International Film Festival and quality theatre, and sports fans can enjoy top-class football, rugby and cricket. A splendid choice of restaurants, bistros, cafe/bars and pubs around the city centre and waterfront account for five entries in the Good Food Guide and three coveted Michelin stars.
