IELTS exam praparation courses

Our two exam preparation courses will help you to be fully prepared for, and to maximise your exam score in the IELTS academic module.

During each course you will:

• be given tips on how to improve your exam score
• work on the language skills necessary for each exam
• practice using past papers
• gain the confidence necessary to perform well in the exam.

IELTS Study Plus (30 hours)
Designed for students aiming for a score of 6.0 to 7.0 in the academic module and includes extended language skills work.

IELTS Focus (14 hours)
Intensive preparation course focusing on exam skills, with practice using past papers.

When you come for a free placement test, we will advise you on the best course to take.

Each exam preparation course is run 3 times per year, and there are monthly IELTS exam sessions at the British Council, giving you every chance of success.

Lessons are 4 hours a week, divided into two lessons of two hours.
