Cambridge English exams

Develop your English skills whatever your level

If you want to develop your English skills, Cambridge English for Speakers of other Languages (Cambridge ESOL) can help you, whatever your level, and whatever your reason. Whether you want to improve your job prospects, gain entry to a UK university or make travelling easier, there is a Cambridge ESOL exam to suit you.

Cambridge ESOL exams are the world’s leading range of certificates for learners of English. Each year, they are taken by around 2 million people, in 130 countries and are recognised by thousands of educational organisations and employers throughout the world.

Cambridge ESOL is part of the world-famous University of Cambridge. Its English language exams are linked to the Common European Framework for Modern Languages, published by the Council of Europe. They are the only certificated exams referred to in the Framework document as specifically linked to it by a long-term research programme.

Please visit the Cambridge ESOL website for further detailed information, to test your level of English to decide which Cambridge ESOL English exam is right for you and to view free or purchase preparation and practice materials.

You can take a Cambridge English exam with us at five of six CEFR levels; each level will test your English skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Please note that for all of the examinations listed below we require the registration of a minimum of ten or more candidates in order for the session to take place.
