International Networking for Young Scientists

International Networking for Young Scientists (INYS) is a programme for bringing together young researchers from the UK and other countries to make new contacts and promote the creative exchange of ideas through short conferences.

Particularly for young researchers, mobility is the extended laboratory: it is a powerful source of new ideas and a strong force for creativity.

Through our INYS programme, we help develop quality collaboration in science and technology between the UK and other countries and show the UK as a leading partner for achievement in world science, now and in the future.

WHY IS THE INYS PROGRAMME DIFFERENT?

Our INYS programme is unique in that it brings together scientists in any priority research area to explore ideas and develop working relationships that will encourage young researchers to be mobile with the aim of gaining and expanding their knowledge.

Other organisations fund international mobility of scientists and engineers in relation to specific research work and more information on these can be found on our funding route map.
