General Information

The test results are sent out 13 days after the test date by post.   
Please note that only one personal copy of the Test Report Form (TRF) can be sent to each candidate. It is recommended that you take due care in keeping your TRF secure. It cannot be replaced. We do not offer Test Report Form photocopies or test results verification service to candidates.   
We are not able to release the results earlier and we are not allowed to give you any information regarding your results, neither on the phone nor in person, by e-mail or fax.   
The IELTS test result is valid for 2 years. However, some universities or organisations may have their own regulations concerning the period of validity.   
If you would like to come to the British Council in Sarajevo to collect your results in person between 12.00 and 18.00h on the 13th day after the test, please inform us five working days after the test at the latest.

The result is provisional and should not be used as an official confirmation of your achievement. British Council will not accept any responsibility in the event that your result fails to display, weather due to a technical fault or administrative procedure

Sending Test Report Forms to institutions

Copies of your Test Report Form can be sent directly to institutions on your behalf within the two years of their validity. The receiving institutions can also verify a candidate’s results through IELTS Test Report Form Verification Service.   
We dispatch up to five copies free of charge that were stated initially on your application form. For every additional copy we charge 10.00 KM.   

For candidates requiring additional Test Report Forms (TRFs), please do the following:

Fill out an Application for additional TRFs Form.

Submit the payment using our payment form, which is payable at any bank or post office. Please do not enclose cash in your application.

Forward Application for additional TRF, together with the original bank remittance to our address and additional copies of the TRFs will be forwarded to the specified address via registered mail.
