We are not the British Consulate, or the British Embassy. We do not deal with any enquiries in relation to passports or visas.

Changes in the administration of the University and Professional exams

Since 1 November 2011 the British Council has hand most of its University and Professional exams over to Masterclass English. The CIMA and ACCA exams will still be arranged through the British Council. The British Council administration of the Cambridge ESOL exams and the Cambridge Admission tests (BMAT, TSA, HAT and PAT) is still run by the British Council. ONLY A FEW PLACES LEFT: 24 february: The Language of the Workplace workshop

During this workshop we will introduce you to the Business English world including financial and legal English and how to teach towards these goals. On Sunday 19 February Cobra Museum organises an artist's talk with British artist Nathaniel Mellors (1974), winner of the Cobra Art Prize Amstelveen 2011. Mellors will speak about his work, working method, and inspirational sources, and will particularly expand on his ideas on “sculpture in terms of processes of objectification”. Afterwards he will be in conversation with Hilde de Bruijn, curator at the Cobra Museum.

Public speaking, young writers and digital voice award

The three BBC and ESU Awards (for young people between 16 and 20 years old) form a common focus for developing effective English language skills. The Awards give young people the chance to step into the spotlight and showcase their English communication skills and will enhance communication skills in English.
