Teaching English        A joint British Council/BBC website for teachers. Offers tips and resources as well as a forum for teachers of English as a foreign language.   

Language Assistant        Our special website for English language assistants contains many tips for English lessons. It is also of interest to teachers. Find useful tips for lesson planning or take part in discussions.   

Cambridge ESOL Teaching Resources        The website of the University of Cambridge – English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), is especially useful for teachers preparing their pupils for the Cambridge exams, but also for others: practical tips, dos and don’ts, activities to download as well as links to further Cambridge ESOL resources such as handbooks and past papers.   

Learn English        Use the LearnEnglish website together with your pupils. An entertaining site which helps you improve your English skills online: games, song lyrics, grammar and in particular Test Your Level all contribute to LearnEnglish’s success.   

LearnEnglish Kids Zone        A part of the LearnEnglish website especially for younger pupils. Children can construct a monster online, test the word mixer and try out many other games. Learn English through play.   

Montage Plus        Make use of the best online resources for UK literature. Our web portal offers news, information and a discussion forum for readers, writers, teachers, students and authors.   

Search English        News, information and networks for English teachers worldwide. SearchEnglish also offers a discussion forum for the exchange of information and experiences.
