ARTISTIC POLICY
Carol Brown creates solo, duo and group movement works for theatre and live art spaces. The aesthetic of the work and language of performance evolve through dialogue and collaboration with the fields of visual design, architecture, film, music and literature. Performances explore the presence of the human body within different ecologies of perception and offer a dynamic interrogation of contemporary themes and inventions.

CURRENT PRODUCTION
A realtime interactive dance installation for performers, audiences and a constantly evolving visual environment that presents itself as a swirling, hypnotic sea. is a collaboration between choreographer Carol Brown and architect Mette Ramsgard Thomsen. Occurring within the framework of a specially developed interactive environment it offers an absorbing and immersive experience of luscious imagery, sounds and movement. The installation runs in a cycle during which there is both a professional performance and then the opportunity for visitors/audience to inhabit the installation.

WRAP AROUND ACTIVITY
Carol Brown can offer choreographic workshops for professional practitioners and dance students and/or lecture-demonstrations for professional practitioners and students in the fields of dance, architecture and computer science, illuminating the processes and techniques used in creating her work.

With there is a specific opportunity for local artists to work with the company and be trained as to how to engage with the installation environment so that they can subsequently act as dancer-guides for the viewing public when the installation is running.
