ARTISTIC POLICY
Lisa Hammond and Rachael Spence are independent theatre-makers and friends who for the first time have teamed up to make their own show together. Collaborating with Improbable’s Lee Simpson, their work blurs the boundaries between real-life and fictional story-telling, exploring the myriad of possibilities that occur when you involve the general public in making your show.

‘Lisa Hammond's Belle has both a cheerful twinkle in her eye and an intense watchfulness, it is a beautiful performance full of fragility in a show which always walks the tightrope between comic and the serious.’ The Guardian, Told by an Idiot’s

‘Lisa Hammond is remarkable as Carlotta, reminding us that there is no relation between size and physical passion.’ The Guardian, Told by an Idiot’s
