ARTISTIC POLICY
Mojisola Adebayo collaborates with British and International artists from a variety of different disciplines to create new text-based physical theatre performed within a broad African aesthetic that explores contemporary issues such as climate change, racism, perceptions of Islam and the Middle East.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
A multi-sensory storytelling performance inspired by the true story of a runaway African slave, offering a radical view of climate and change, with visuals shot on location in Antarctica. (80 mins, 1 on stage, 3 on the road.)

A moving true story of love, conquest, race, racing and betrayal of planet and people, set in the High Arctic. (90 mins, 3 on stage, 5 on the road.)

Tells the story of a girl who speaks her life through Ali’s words, his fights become her dances and his struggles give her the courage she needs to survive. Looking at black girls and father figures, masculinity and Islam, this powerful play packs more than just a punch. (60 mins, 2 on stage, 4 on the road.)

A play without words which looks at the relationship of Israel and Palestine in 1948 through two performers, in movement, music and dance.. Made by artists from across the Middle East. (48 mins, 2 on stage, 4 on the road.)

WRAP-AROUND
A number of activities are available in response to requests and are lead by experienced professional practitioners. These include pre- and post-show workshops; dialogues exploring contemporary issues raised in the plays (such as climate change, slavery, colonialism, race and racism, perceptions of Islam and the Middle East); training courses in theatre for development skills especially in areas of crisis or conflict; general drama skills training courses; residencies collaborating with local artists.
