ARTISTIC POLICY
Led by Matt Adams, Ju Row Farr and Nick Tandavanitj, Blast Theory has a team of six and is based in Brighton. The group's work explores interactivity and the relationship between real and virtual space with a particular focus on the social and political aspects of technology. Blast Theory uses video, computers, performance, installation, mobile and online technologies to ask questions about the ideologies present in the information that envelops us.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
A work for cyclists where theatre combines with game play and state of the art technology, continuing Blast Theory’s enquiry into performance in the age of personal communication. (2 or 3 local performers, 11 on the road.)
Set in a fictional town where players establish codes of behaviour and morality within a parallel world. Using mobile phones, the piece explores the nature of public participation and electronic spaces. (4 or 5 local performers, 7 on the road.)
A game that happens simultaneously online and on the streets. Players from anywhere in the world can play online in a virtual city against members of Blast Theory. (3 performers, 4 or 5 local performers, 10 on the road.)
