Drake Music Project is the only national organisation that uses technology to create music-making opportunities for physically disabled people. The project passionately believes that everyone, regardless of disability, has the right to explore, compose and perform their own music. The aim is to address the profound lack of music provision for physically disabled people and it is achieved through three main areas of activity: delivery of music projects for disabled people of all ages, from work in schools with children to training and performance opportunities for adult advanced musicians; provision of training for music professionals including teachers and community musicians in assistive technology; research and development into assistive technology solutions.
