OUR SERVICES

The information centre staff is always ready to help you find your way among the variety of the information available in order to make the most out of your membership. According to your learning needs and aim we can direct you to the most appropriate resources:

English learning materials (course books, CD-ROMs, websites, easy reader collection and dictionaries)
English teaching resource pack and professional magazines
Study skills collection, CD-ROMs. Electronic resources and articles
Management skills books’ collection, audiovisual training packs, magazines and electronic resources
Electronic databases of information on almost all fields of science and technology
Information on studying and qualification opportunities

There are a number of periodical events organised periodically to enhance your learning.

MANAGEMENT SKILLS LEARNING WORKSHOPS

Arranged for companies, schools and institutions wishing to upgrade their staff knowledge). The workshops are facilitated by the information centre staff and uses a number of resources. Read for more To participate please consult the schedule of the workshops

TEENS’ CLUB

There are biweekly meetings with library members between 16 and 19 years old, organised at the information centre and usually with a guest speaker who leads discussion on a specific topic. If you are interested on the next session please see the calendar of club’s meetings. Read for more

BRIEFING SESSIONS

They are organised every month for the new members of the information centre. A comprehensive description of the resources available is followed by a centre tour and a special informative session for IELTS candidates. Attendance is free and you can check dates and time in the calendar of events.
