Governance of the Scheme - Accreditation UK   

Authority to grant or withdraw accreditation is vested in the Chair of the Accreditation Scheme Board who is guided by the Accreditation Scheme Advisory Committee and Board.

The Board currently comprises the following members:

Voting

British Council: John Knagg, Jane Franklin, Graham McCulloch   
English UK: Tony Millns; Andrew Hjort; Sue Edwards   

Non-voting

William Callaway, Chair of the Accreditation Scheme Advisory Committee   
Liz McLaren, Manager, Accreditation UK (Secretary)   

A further member of the Accreditation Unit is in attendance

All members of the Board agree to act in the general interests of the Scheme, Scheme members and their students. The Board has the discretion to invite others to attend Board meetings on a non-voting basis.

The Board meets quarterly.
