Teaching Knowledge Test Essentials Course   

British Council is opening a series of seminars for English language teachers. on different aspects of TKT Essentials modules. The materials from the session may be found in the archive.

If you are a novice teacher or wish to update your teacher's knowledge and make your lessons more efficient, you may apply for a full Teacher Knowledge Test Essencials course which is planed in British Council October-December, 2010.

The TKT Essentials is a modular course based on the Cambridge TKT syllabus and produced by the British Council Global Products Team. It aims to increase teacher’s confidence and provide opportunities for teacher’s  professional development. It gives teachers a basic foundation in the major areas of teacher education needed for running the English language classes effectively.

The course is based on TKT syllabas and covers the three TKT core areas (background to language teaching/learning; lesson planning and teaching resources; classroom management) and was focused on such issues as:
