Have you ever wanted to teach abroad and improve your English? Can you think of classroom activities that would help students in the UK to improve their Russian language skills? If so, the Foreign Language Assistants programme might be for you.
Your role will be to work with the teacher in the classroom or on your own with small groups of students in order to help them gain confidence in your language. It is also a good chance for them to learn more about the culture in your country.
This year the British Council Russia will be enrolling up to 4 teachers to work as foreign language assistants in 2011/2012 academic year.
Who can participate and criteria for selection:
We are looking for young enthusiastic professionals with higher education diploma to work as assistant teachers in British school during 2011/2012 academic year.

The documents you need to submit:
Successful candidates will need to provide police clearance certificate and medical certificate.
We will notify you separately when it is required.
Programme approximate length is nine months from September – early October till late May-June.
