UK4 is a new four-year Bachelor Degree programme offered by a consortium of fourteen UK universities in collaboration with us. The programme covers a wide range of degree programmes.
What is UK4?
The UK4 programme is designed for school leavers from Gulf States who wish to study for an undergraduate degree at a UK university.
Why UK4?
The first year of the UK4 is a preparatory year that develops your academic and study skills to be able to cope with the depth and concentration required by an UK undergraduate degree. This degree will reduce the complexity of the application process by applying to three universities directly. You will start your course at the beginning of the academic year but will have no deadlines for the application.
How do i study?
The first year of the programme will be spent with international students who come from different education systems and UK students who have not obtained the necessary entry requirements. Reassurance should be made for students, parents and sponsors that the last three years of the degree will be spent with UK students.
Which universities offer UK4?
A consortium of fourteen universities has been established to launch the programme. More universities are expected to join the programme in the coming years.
Are these universities accredited?
The Ministry of Higher Education accredits all UK universities for undergraduate degrees. You are advised to contact the Equivalence Department of the Ministry of Higher Education for more information.
Can i apply?
Each university will set its own entry requirements. Generally you should have a very good GPA from your secondary school (Thanawiyah) with specified subject specific results. You should have a good standard of English language. Universities would prefer that you sit for an IELTS test at one of our centres, but they do accept TOEFL scores. For more information on the English language requirements of each university please refer to the UK4 brochure or visit the relevant University website.
How can I apply?
We will assist you in filling and checking the necessary documents. An application form can be downloaded as a PDF file or obtained from our centres in:
