这是一个为期8个月的, 由英国全球机遇基金资助并由英国文化协会和最高人民检察院共同执行的项目. 本项目旨在让中国监狱检察人员了解国际监狱监督标准及尊重犯人权利的实际操作规定并推动监所检察工作的完善.

项目活动:

2006年6月5-6日项目在山西省太原市举办了题为中英刑罚执行监督的研讨会. 英国皇家检察总长Anne Owers女士和英国国王学院国际监狱研究中心的Mike Newell先生应邀参加了会议. 最高人民检察院监所检察厅的白泉民厅长和当地80名检察官共同参加了会议.
2006年8月项目派出了一个由10名检察官组成的考察团赴英国访问. 考察旨在让中国监狱检察人员了解国际监狱监管标准及尊重犯人权利的实际操作规定并推动监所检察工作的完善
