Tired of waiting for a copy of a popular book? Planning a trip and wanting to take some good reading with you but limited on space? We have your solution: BARD (Braille and Audio Reading Download)!
BARD allows patrons FREE access to download any NLS digital book they want, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No more wait lists; no more due dates; no more mailing books back and forth. And there are no limits: you can download as many books as you want, and so can every other BARD user. For FREE!
Staff from institutions like libraries, care homes and rehab centers are also welcome to create BARD accounts to help demonstrate the service to clients or download books for patrons (visit our
Institutional Services page for the link to the application for institutions).
If you are already a BARD user, you can log in here
