Residence Halls

(Text-Only Version)

The Residence Halls at Scott
Western Carolina University are designed to provide you with a safe, clean, comfortable and wholesome living environment, while offering a variety of activities that will become a memorable part of your college years. The University Residential Living Staff knows that everything you do while you are in college is important to your growth as an individual. For this reason, we offer programs in the residence halls to make campus living a part of your total educational development. Each residence hall community provides more than just a place to lay one's head. It provides an environment that will allow residents the opportunity to study, interact socially with one another, make new friends, enhance communication and relationship skills, and participate in various residence hall activities. Residents can get involved in floor socials, join a residence hall intramural team, assist with community service projects, participate in residence life organizations, and a wealth of other programs. Over 1,000 organized activities take place in the residence halls each year.
