InfoCommons
The InfoCommons @ UF Library West
The InfoCommons @ West is located on the 3rd floor of Smathers Library West at the University of Florida.
The InfoCommons was designed to foster collaborative learning in a creative environment while matching patron needs with the latest resources and technologies. That means we’ve got approxmiately 150 computers available for research, communication, learning, design, and play, ample space throughout Library West for group and individual study.
We've also got iPads, laptops, pico projectors, and FlipVideo cameras available for checkout (2nd floor desk), private group study rooms that can be reserved online, and a dedicated “quiet study” floor on the fourth floor. There is even a Starbucks in our building, conveniently located downstairs on the the first floor.
We also have a Facebook Page and a Twitter Account if you'd like to keep in the loop on the happenings in LW and don't forget to check-in to Foursquare so one day YOU can become the Mayor of Library West.
BTW – Library West takes patron suggestions very seriously. If you have any questions about the InfoCommons @West or suggestions on how we can make your experience in Library West better, please tell us here.
