The UF Graduate Curriculum Committee oversees the process for creating new graduate courses and integrating them into the State of Florida’s Common Course Numbering System (SCNS). Requests for new courses and course changes are to be submitted through UF’s Approval Tracking System. Anyone with a valid Gatorlink username and password can access approval.ufl.edu, however only those with “approver” access will be able to submit decisions. If you need to request or change approver access, you can email approval@ufl.edu.
The Approval Tracking System is used to transmit requests for new courses and course changes through each stage of the approval process. All course changes and new course requests must be uploaded and submitted and all decisions will be communicated through this system. New courses must be submitted via the New Course Transmittal form (UCC1) and changes must be submitted via the Request for Course Deletion or Change in Any Characteristic of a Current Course form (UCC2).
