Text Equivalents: Show Text Equivalents

Functions

• When the Show Text Equivalent option is selected, a checkmark is put next to the option, and:
  • the content of an img element is replaced by the alt element.
  • the content of an object element is replaced by the code and text content enclosed by the object tags.
  • the content of an embed or applet element is hidden.
• Deselecting this option unchecks the option and restores the original display.
• If the alt or the text content
of an object element is not defined, nothing will be displayed in place of the element.
