  • 2016-2017 Federal Direct Loan Programs Origination Fee Increase
    Effective October 1, 2016, the U.S. Department of Education will increase the origination fees on Federal Direct Loan Programs. Federal Direct Stafford Loans (Subsidized/Unsubsidized) will be assessed a 1.069% origination fee while Federal Direct PLUS Loans will be assessed a 4.276% origination fee.
