Global Entrepreneurship Week

Ferris State University launched the Entrepreneurship Institute (EI) in the fall of 2011.The Institute, which will be based out of Big Rapids and Grand Rapids campuses, will focus on the tremendous opportunities and challenges that becoming an entrepreneur entails.

Developing the skills required to create a business start-up will provide Ferris students with a greater variety of choices for their future careers.

The Entrepreneurship Institute has the following goals:

  1. To act as a resource center for aggregating and disseminating information related to entrepreneurship.
  2. To develop a curriculum that meets the needs of both potential and existing entrepreneurs.
  3. To create an Entrepreneurial Incubator that will host entrepreneurs and facilitate their success.
