Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research - works with college deans, department heads, faculty, and graduate students, as well as external agencies and groups to advance research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Office of Sponsored Programs and Research Administration (OSPRA) - is comprised of three divisions: the Proposal Division, responsible for reviewing and approving requests for external funding; the Award Division responsible for negotiating terms and conditions of awards; and the Subaward Division responsible for issuing agreements.

IRIS - Illinois Researcher Information Service- offers three Web-based funding and research services: the IRIS Database of more than 9,000 federal and private funding opportunities in all disciplines; the IRIS Alert Service for creating individual search profiles; and the IRIS Expertise Service for creating electronic CVs.

Tech.com - provides news on research and emerging innovations that are developed within universities, research labs and start-up companies throughout the world.

University of Illinois Research Park - offers an environment to bring corporations and start-up companies closer to university research, to encourage collaborations, and to encourage economic development. Located minutes from campus, it is home to 50 companies and growing.
