International Programs in Engineering (IPENG)
A variety of study-abroad programs are available to give students international experience. Currently, Engineering at Illinois is the only U.S. institution to offer an international minor in engineering as part of the regular degree program.

James Scholar Program in Engineering
Honors program offers special course sections, enhanced opportunities. The Upperclass James Scholar Program is open to all students who achieve a minimum cumulative University of Illinois GPA of 3.30. (Electrical or Computer Engineering majors require a 3.50 GPA.)

Hoeft Technology & Management Program
The Technology & Management Program at Illinois bridges the gap between traditional engineering and business education by offering a unique curriculum to a select group of highly qualified undergraduates drawn from the Colleges of Engineering and Business.

Morrill Engineering Program (MEP)
For more than 30 years, the MEP has helped attract and retain qualified students from underrepresented groups in engineering.

Technology Entrepreneur Center
Courses and extra-curricular activities for engineering and  technology students interested in technology commercialization and entrepreneurship.

Women in Engineering (WIE)
WIE provides assistance as women take their place among today's engineering professionals.

Work Experience Programs
Programs for undergraduates to gain professional work experience, including co-ops, semester internships, and summer internships.
