Student Organizations

Engaging with student organizations allows you to connect with the best and brightest of Engineering at Illinois students -- not just those who excel academically, but also those who have developed the leadership skills necessary in today's competitive marketplace. You also build a pipeline of students who have developed recognition of your corporate identify throughout their four years at Illinois.

Companies can engage with student organizations in a variety of ways, including:

  • Making presentations on professional topics at society meetings
  • Attending college wide and student organziation events and activities
  • Providing financial support -- either designated for a specific use or unrestricted
  • Serving in an advisory role
  • Sponsoring programs or activities

Engineering Council (EC) is a union of engineering societies and committees dedicated to enriching the student collegiate experience through a distinctive array of programs and services. More than 50 professional and honorary societies plan events and programs for students in all engineering programs.
