E-Day

The College of Engineering will host an open house on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012. You are invited to join us on campus to explore the rewarding opportunities available within the fields of engineering and computer science.

Information regarding admissions to UA, housing, financial aid, scholarships, honors programs, Air Force ROTC and much more will be available.

School groups, families and individual students in high school and in junior or community colleges are all welcome to attend.

Students will have the opportunity to talk with faculty members and current students, tour labs, and explore the opportunities, which include:

Browse a variety of the student organizations offered inside of the College of Engineering. You will be able to meet students from a plethora of groups ranging from competition teams like ASME Rocket Girls and ASCE Concrete Canoe to College wide professional groups like the Society of Women Engineers. Feel free to stop by and see what these student groups have to offer to your overall college experience.
11:30 a.m. Lunch – Science and Engineering Quad
Thanks to the generosity of McAbee Construction, a free lunch is available for all attendees. The menu includes: pork sandwich, chips, cookies, and Pepsi products.

Parking and Directions

Please have your school bus drivers drop students off near HM Comer Hall and park in the NE campus lot (Rec Center). All students/parents bringing their own vehicles can park in the Ferguson center lot across from HM Comer as space allows. Overflow student/parent parking will be in the NE campus lot (Rec Center). This lot is labeled as “Bus Parking” on the attached map.
