What’s the role of culture in our complex and rapidly changing societies? Can culture play a role in wider social issues such as foreign policy, international relations, economic regeneration and social conflict and inclusion? The British Council seeks to engage the new generation of cultural leaders with key stakeholders around the world in the development of common strategies to tackle global cultural issues. These pages are intended as a space to bring these issues into dialogue - particularly those coming out of our Cultural Leadership International Programme (CLI), which selects the brightest emerging cultural leaders from around the world to develop their leadership vision and capacity in an international context.
