New British Film Festival Moscow - UK Delegates

British Council is pleased to introduce the UK film industry professionals who will take part in the industry programme at Moscow's New British Film Festival in November 2011

The New British Film Festival is a key event in the Russian cultural calendar, celebrating the best new work in contemporary British cinema. Thousands of Russians get a chance to see a range of UK work for the first time, from major features to independent films, animations to documentaries,  many of which go into broad distribution afterwards.  Recent screenings include An Education, Never Let Me Go, Four Lions, Tamara Drewe, The Last Station, and many others.   In 2011 the 12th edition of the New British Film Festival will take place in Moscow from 2-13 November at Gorizont Cinema, before touring to three other cities: Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.

One of the highlights of the festival this year will be the industry programme  New British Film Festival Talks , which includes a series of talks, Q&As, workshops and networking events bringing together UK film industry experts with emerging and established Russian film business contacts to share experience and build professional links.
