All around the world, the creative and cultural economy is talked about as an important and growing part of the global economy.

The above concepts represent an area dealing with ways as how to harness creativity, skills, talent and innovation in order to further economic regeneration and wealth creation, as well as cultural identity and diversity of countries, cities and communities. A multitude of definitions and guidelines are used across the world for each of these concepts. At times, there is a lack of clarity as to what exactly they represent, since terminology offers few, if at all, clear distinctions among them.
